20 Free No Prep Valentine Activities for Preschoolers

As a former preschool teacher, I love incorporating the holidays into our learning activities! As a busy mom, I love incorporating the holidays into our daily activities as simply as possible. Complicated projects? Not for me. Simple things that don’t require a lot of time or special supplies to set up, but that my kids still love? Yes, please! It’s one of the reasons I compiled this list of free, no prep Valentine activities for preschoolers.

Like I said, I am a trained early childhood teacher so I admit that I am choosy on the activities I do at home. I want Nathan and Emma to have fun with the activities while they are learning. Nathan has already done several of these in his afternoon project time and he loved them all! Cutting, gluing, dotting, rhyming…I can speak from experience that all these no prep Valentine activities have been a hit with my preschooler!

My criteria for no prep activities?

  • It must be free. I don’t like sign ups. On a rare occasion (like for Totschooling) while I sign up for a mailing list – only if it is really worth my time.
  • It must be high quality. I want activities that print clearly in pdf files.
  • It must truly be no prep. I want activities that I can print and use immediately.

Using these simple criteria, I’ve waded through a lot of activities to find the best no prep Valentine activities for preschoolers around. I hope that this helps many other busy moms who are looking for Valentine things to do with their children!

I’ve divided my list into several categories. No prep activities are a variety of worksheets and printables for use with your preschooler. Valentine clip cards require a tiny amount of prep but are so fun for kids! Take a look at some of the clip cards, grab some clothespins and you will see what I mean. The final category is Valentine activity packs. Each of these packs has 20 plus pages of various Valentine activities. I often pick and choose the ones we will do, not printing all of them.
