This week, I headed to Meijer, early in the week. I wanted to make sure that I got the Gain deal while everything was in stock. Beside the Gain, this is what I bought.
2 boxes of Gain fabric softener (120 sheets) – $0.99 each (after sale, $3/1 coupon and $3 catalina)
3 pack of Kleenex (200 count) – $2.99 (after sale and $0.50/1 doubled coupon)
2 boxes Eggo waffles – $0.67 each (after sale and 2 $1/1 coupons from my Company Contacts Challenge)
1 Kraft String Cheese – $2.00 (after sale and $1/1 coupon)
1 Electrosal Dish Detergant (20 count) – $0.75 (after sale $2.25/1 coupon)
1 box Slow Cooker Liners (I love these things!) – $0.79 (after sale and $1/1 coupon)
1 bag Hash browns – $2.00
1 Philadelphia Cooking Cream – $1 (after sale and $1.50/1 coupon)
1 Stir Fry Sauce (because I happened to see a coupon on the shelf) – $0.86 (after sale and coupon)
1 Parkay Margarine – $0.99
1 Clean and Clear Facial Wash – $2.27 (after sale and $1/1 coupon)
1 bottle of Funf wine…as it was Valentine’s Day this week! Side note, do you see my lovely tulips from my wonderful husband? He’s so sweet!
Back to my grocery shopping, where I spent $24.13 at Meijer this week. This brings my total spent for the month to $81.88. There is one week left in February and I still have $78.12 to spend.
Truthfully, I’m not quite sure how that happened that we have almost half of our grocery budget left for the month. That’s high…even for me! Since we have room in the budget, I’m going to take some time this weekend to make up a more detailed list and restock my pantry. Oh, it’s good to be frugal!
How is your grocery budget this month?
