Published November 30, 2018 Updated August 17, 2019 Leave a Comment

Easy Wassail Recipe - I love homemade wassail! And this recipe is so simple and absolutely delicious. A great winter drink!

Do you know this old English carol? "Here we come a-wassailing among the leaves so green. Here we come a-wandering so fair to be seen. Love and joy come to you. And to you your wassail, too. May God bless you and send you a Happy New Year. And God send you a Happy New Year!" Some may sing it as caroling but I still like the old version that includes wassail. Perhaps that is because we grew up drinking wassail at Christmas! This song reminds me of the Boar's Head Festival (where they always sang this song) and my Mom's delicious homemade wassail. Homemade Potato Salad for a Crowd

Published May 22, 2017 Updated May 22, 2017 13 Comments

Potato salad is a side dish I think everyone should know how to make. Why? Homemade potato salad is simple, incredibly frugal and like so many things, homemade is more delicious than store bought.
