Published January 12, 2021 Leave a Comment

I don't know about you but I love the fresh start of a new year. I love setting goals and usually tend to dream too big. I have tried to narrow down my goals in the past couple of years but still don't always reach them. I'm not usually disappointed because I know I can just roll them over if I want. I can't believe we're on the second week of January already. Our Christmas was wonderful, as we were able to see all of Andy's siblings, plus my parents drove up from Texas after Christmas. It was SO good to be with family around Christmas. I grew up many miles away from most of my extended … Read More...

I can't believe it's March! This is the month we will meet our new baby! My Goals for 2019 & 2020

Published January 06, 2020 Updated January 06, 2020 10 Comments

I love the fresh start of a new year. I love the chance to dream big and imagine what the year will hold. As our Christmas taught me, I am glad I don't know what the future holds and this makes me  more determined than ever to simply make the most of each day. Whatever it brings. I always have lots of little goals and projects each year. You know the type. I want to organize things and declutter rooms and cook healthier and walk more. These are things I will still work on throughout the year but I choose to focus on a couple big goals throughout the year.  I always try to focus on a … Read More...

Our Christmas 2019

Published January 05, 2020 Updated January 05, 2020 6 Comments

As a school teacher's family, we always look forward to Christmas break and the time we have together as a family. This year, Andy and I have remarked several times that we didn't know all Christmas break would hold before it began. I'm sharing this all as an honest glimpse behind the scenes of life in our house this Christmas! Our December started with us hosting the St. Paul's faculty party of which we had a great time with Andy's fellow teachers and their spouses. It was nice to have our house clean and decorated by the 14th too so we could maintain it through Christmas! (Sometimes … Read More...
