This is a really easy dessert recipe.  With only 6 ingredients needed, you can you make this peanut butter pie in a hurry!

You can also use this basic recipe and put a couple twists on it.

You can use a chocolate graham cracker crust or a plain graham cracker crust. You can make your own graham cracker crust (by crushing graham crackers and adding melted butter) or buy your own. I love the bit of flavor that a chocolate crust can give. The rest of the flavor is from chocolate’s favorite partner – peanut butter.

If you want to save calories, you skip the crust all together and freeze the peanut butter pie filling in small bowls for a frozen treat that is still delicious! I have even used this filling to make homemade popsicles before. There really are so many options with this delicious recipe.

Here is the recipe for Easy Peanut Butter Pie.

Ingredients:

Graham cracker crust
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup milk
8 ounces Cool Whip

Directions:

Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar in a mixer until smooth.

Add peanut butter and milk. Beat until creamy.

Fold in Cool Whip.

Pour filling into graham cracker pie crust. Freeze the entire pie for several hours (or overnight) until frozen through.

Cut the frozen peanut butter pie into slices and drizzle with chocolate sauce to serve.

Additional Pie Tips:

Frozen peanut butter pie is delicious when topped with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. I love to serve it with my easy homemade chocolate syrup.

If you have extra filling (as you most likely will), simply pour it into a separate container to freezer for a personal pie treat. It’s delicious even before frozen but the frozen element is a nice twist.

This is a great dessert to make ahead for company. Peanut butter pie stores well in the freezer and is one less thing you have do the night before (or the day of).
