We shall see what I hear this week. I did receive several coupons this week.
I was excited to receive not one, but two, free product coupons in the mail from Glade. They can also be used on Pledge products, so that is a bonus!
I also received three coupons for $3/1 Boston contact solution from Bausch and Lomb. With contact solution for gas permeable contacts starting at $9, these coupons are very helpful. It’s like getting a whole bottle for free!

I am hoping for more coupons this week. I did receive a $1/1 Sara Lee product. It’s also good for Hilsshire Farm and Jimmy Dean, so I will probably use it on meat.
I also went through and updated my Master contact list. I alphabetized it and realized, in the process, that I had a couple duplicates. I’ll be working on finishing my contacts. I have less than 100 to go over the next 4 months!

I’m excited to contact more companies. Why, you ask? This week was a great week for responses!
First, I received an envelope of recipes and four $0.50/1 coupons from Roman Bread. When those are doubled and / or tripled, I will have four (or very cheap) bread that is high quality. Then, I received an envelope of recipes and coupons from King Hawaiian Bread. It included a personal note and two free product coupons! While I love the free product coupons, I was amazed to actually receive a handwritten note.
Let’s see what happens now! This week, I am contacting another group of various companies. Here they are.
No Yolks
Fresh Express
Top Ramen
Aunt Jemina
Brawny
Here’s hoping for another good week of responses!

I’ve now contacted 150 companies for these contacts. What does that mean? I have 100 more companies by December to reach my goal. Until now, my contacts have revolved around a weekly theme. While that will still happen some weeks, other weeks will simply be a contacting a variety of links with no specific theme.
This is one of those weeks. This week, I am contacting the following companies.
Roman Meal Bread
King’s Hawaiian Bread
Red Star Yeast
Fleishmann’s Yeast
Skippy
Let’s see what I hear this week from these companies!

Since it’s been hot, I’ve found myself serving light snack meals in place of dinner. Hummus has become a regular snack for me.
When I was thinking of company contacts for the week, I decided to contact companies who create dips or companies who create ingredients for dips that I create. Dips are my go to choice when I’m asked to bring something to a friend’s house for appetizers.
This week, I am contacting these companies.
Sabra
Athenos (Email at athenos_contactus@athenos.com)
Ragu
Hormel
Wholly Guacamole
I didn’t receive any coupons (from my contacts) in the mail this week. Sigh. That’s two weeks in a row. I hope that the third week will be the charm, and bring coupons again. It’s easy to become discouraged but we won’t know unless we try.
