An Updated Website Header and Design

Have you noticed that my website site is updated, once again? I’m slowly learning more and more about CSS and how to tweak my website myself.

However, when I saw that Christy (who blogs at Critty Joy) was opening a new design business, I quickly decided to ask for help. I wanted a header that looked more professional with a matching blog button. I was confident that Christy could design it, and wow, did she ever!

She asked for my choices of colors, using pallettes at Design Seeds. Have you been there? Check it out, because it’s so much fun to look at these colors that are already grouped for you.

Then, she asked about fonts that I liked, other website designs I noticed, and any image designs. I’d always liked the idea of a cross with a heart, and Christy designed the one in my logo for me. She added some nice script in complementary blues, and in a matter of hours, I had a new header that I loved.

Take a look. Click through to my website here to see for yourself. I think it fits me (and this site) perfectly. Don’t you agree?

Christy also designed a matching blog button for me. It combines the basics of my header in an easy to grab design.

The code is located in my sidebar. Simply copy the code and you can place it on your website as you choose. I’d love for you to share my site with others in this way!

Put simply, Christy did a marvelous and quick design job for a reasonable price.  Visit her Delighted Designs website and check out her work for yourself. You’ll be glad you did!
