I’m spending my last weekend in Okinawa. It’s hard to believe my time here is almost over! It’s been wonderful, of course, but I am ready to return to my home – and to my hubby!
I’m home for not quite a week before we start the next round of summer travels and visits. We’re looking forward to a visit from my parents and youngest sister. Having a company is always a good reason to try new recipes. Is that just what my family does? Here are a couple of the recipes I’d like to try soon.
My family enjoys an occasional, special treat out to PF Chang’s. Their lettuce wraps look wonderful! Iowa Girl Eats created a knock-off lettuce wraps version that I’d love to try. What do you think, Dad?
If I’m going to make a recipe for my Dad, I should make one for my Mom. This healthy version from the Yummy Life of Spinach Artichoke Dip looks delicious! I like that I can cook it in the slower cooker, too.
I think we’ll all enjoy this Couscous Salad from Tasty Trials, especially since if it’s made with fresh garden produce. Oh, I’m eager to get back to our garden and see how it’s doing, too!
I found this recipe from Zoom Yummy and think the Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread looks like an absolutely delicious breakfast treat. Yummy!
Easy Baked has a recipe for Frosty S’more Cups. What a great idea! It looks amazing and like a great dessert.
My family loves desserts so here’s another new one I want to try. Creative Stirrings made a Frozen Samoa Pie that looks decadent and delicious. I like that I can make this ahead of time, too!
These are a couple of the new recipes I’m looking forward to making…when I’m back home! Have you tried any new recipes lately?
