I’m generally a cheerful person. I do get annoyed but as a teacher of little ones, I’ve learned to hide my annoyance. Still, when I do get angry, I tend to be stubborn and hold onto my anger far to long.
I saw this sunset through my kitchen window (yes, that’s a neighboring farm) and this verse from Ephesians came to mind.
I know that anger is a sin. I need to confess my sins of anger before I let them drag on another day.
Holding onto anger doesn’t ever serve a purpose. Most times, it hurts you more than it hurts the person with whom you are anger.
I’m praying for the grace to forgive and the courage to let go of all my annoyances, frustrations, and anger.

Wow! I just talked about this very verse on my blog. I’m so guilty of holding a grudge and letting my mouth go without thinking. I’m grateful to God for helping me deal with this problem.
Beautiful photograph, powerful verse.

What a lovely view you have! Letting go of anger is a constant challenge isn’t it? Me, I stuff it down instead of getting rid of it! Thanks for the “pep talk”! I needed it.
Thanks also for your kind comment at my place.
Gorgeous photo..I’m a big fan of photos of barns/farms, especially is lovely late afternoon light.
What a beautiful photo and verse!
