Mid-November Stumbles

Links I Love Button

I have so many stumbles to share with you today. It’s hard to believe it’s almost the middle of November with Thanksgiving just around the corner.

We saw our first snowflakes of the year this week and that makes me think of hot soup. The Pioneer Woman has some great recipes. I can’t decide which one to make first – her Corn & Cheese Chowder or Cheddar Broccoli Soup. They both look delicious!

Crystal from Money Saving Mom shared a new recipe for Easy Italian Breadsticks that are made in the bread machine. Apparently her husband says they are better than Olive Garden breadsticks! With this recommendation, I need to try these…perhaps with one of those above mentioned soups.

Even as Andrea is eagerly awaiting the birth of her precious little girl (any day now), she’s still sharing delicious recipes and practical tips! Her recipe for Hot Chocolate Mix looks like a winner…especially since I tend to drink hot chocolate every morning in the cold winter.

Jessica from Preserving Life’s Moments shared a tutorial for Making Christmas Noel blocks. These would make a great Christmas present or an addition to any Christmas decor!

Blissfully Content shared her tutorial for making soap dispensers out of Mason Jars. I’ve seen these in our general store and I love the country cuteness of these! I have lots of canning jars, so now I need to make these. I’d love to have these by all of my sinks.

I have a list of recipes to bake and things to make, thanks to all my stumbles! Any votes for what recipe I should make first?

  1. still no baby yet Kristen! But I AM drinking hot chocolate this morning!
    Thanks for sharing… and for the cute soap dispenser link :)
    Andrea @ Simple Organized Living recently posted..Weekend Giveaway: Organizing Accessories {12 Winners}

  2. Cheddar broccoli soup gets my vote.

    The NOEL blocks made me smile. My mother-in-law has some from way back and each Christmas someone rearranges them to spell “LEON”. Wouldn’t be Christmas without the Leon blocks. ;)
