Links on a May Saturday

Oh, how I do enjoy a nice Saturday! Even though the sun woke me a little earlier than expected, it is nice to see the sun shining. Here’s a variety of links for you on this lovely Saturday in May.

Jessica from Life as Mom wrote a great article on how and why to Keep a Tidy Pantry to Save Money. It’s part of the Eat Well, Spend Less Series. There are several other ladies who write as part of this series. Katie at Good Life Eats has a great article on her Extreme Pantry Makeover. I really like her can organizer!

Marie Madeline Studios has a tutorial for making a Flower Petal Applique tee-shirt. It’s absolutely precious for any little girl! The thing that I love most is that this is a sewing project that doesn’t require a sewing machine. Perfect, since I don’t have one!

Since I just got such a great deal on brownie mixes, I may have found the perfect recipe to make with them! Munchkin Munchies featured a way to make Brownie Popsicles! There’s simple but a cute treat idea for summer.

Andrea at Simple Organized Living shared a recipe for Triple-Layer Taco Pie. It looks delicious! I want to try this, especially since I have some of that new Santa Fe Cooking Creme in my fridge.

I brought home another dozen of my Grandma’s canning jars last weekend for my summer canning. This article featured at Life…Your Way, How to Freeze Food in Glass Jars by Katie, was a great reminder that I can use my glass jars for more than canning.

Those are my links on this lovely Saturday. Perhaps today is finally the day to get our garden planted! I hope you have a wonderful Saturday, too.

I’m linking to Saturday Stumbles at Simply Staci.
